The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, began his first day in Abidjan with two significant economic meetings with Mr. Jean Kacou Diagou, Chairman and CEO of the NSIA Group, and Ms. Diariétou Madina Gaye, President of Schneider Electric Africa, both accompanied by their delegations. These discussions focused on strengthening economic partnerships and technological cooperation between Senegal and these major companies.
Subsequently, the Head of State held warm exchanges with representatives of the Senegalese community in Côte d'Ivoire. These meetings provided an opportunity to listen attentively to their concerns, commend their exemplary dynamism, and reaffirm Senegal’s commitment to supporting its diaspora, a key player in national development and the country’s international influence.
