In the early evening, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, received the Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote and Dr. Okey Oramah, President of Afreximbank.
The discussions focused on financing and investment opportunities in strategic sectors such as energy, fertilizer production, and industry. The objective is to strengthen Senegal's productive capacities and support the National Development Strategy 2024-2029.
During these talks, the Head of State reaffirmed Senegal's commitment to creating an environment conducive to significant investments and to developing strategic partnerships with the African private sector in order to accelerate the country's economic transformation.
