80th session of the United Nations General Assembly: the Head of State leaves Dakar for New York.

The President of the Republic left Dakar this morning for New York to participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. With a particularly busy diplomatic agenda, the Head of State will carry Senegal’s voice and advocate for a vision of a prosperous and sovereign Africa at the heart of major global debates. Upon his departure from the Léopold Sédar Senghor military airport, he was bid farewell by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, as well as several civilian and military authorities.
