Much more than grants, these are institutions to help entrepreneurs and provide them with support throughout their project, both in Senegal and abroad.  Structures have also been created to inform, support and assist with business creation endeavours and investment: APIX (Agency for Promoting Investments), FONGIP (Guarantee Fund for Priority Investments) and ADEPME (Agency for the Development and Coordination of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), as well as others. As to sources of financing, you will find further information here:

APIX serving agrobusinessmen

Agriculture, Breeding and Agrobusiness are some of the key dynamic sectors in the Senegalese economy. They offer significant opportunities in varied high-potential sectors. These sectors have, for several years now, been central to the priorities of the State of Senegal. For those wishing to create a business in agriculture, we invite you to look for information about the REVA Plan. The REVA Plan, for Return to Agriculture, extends from the nation’s sustainable development aims and consists of creating a nationwide dynamic for a massive, sustainable and sustained return of the populations, from all backgrounds, to the land. The REVA Plan is structured around the implementation of integrated emergence hubs and the promotion of private initiative in the agro-industrial sector in the broadest sense (agriculture, forestry, fish farming, aquaculture, craftwork, etc.).  We invite you to contact the APIX Information and Documentation Centre at (221) 33 849 05 55. Focus: Business Creation at the heart of the PES

With the launch of the Plan for an Emerging Senegal in February 2014, the country has a new long-term economic and social development strategy. The PES, as readers will recall, is aimed at reviving production in Senegal, with an annual growth rate of at least 7%, through optimal operation of our economy’s strategies, which create wealth, stimulate growth and generate jobs.

We wish all future entrepreneurs the best of success in their endeavours.
